Local chef selected to present the Huckleberry Bison Burger as one of fifty iconic state dishes
Helena, MT: Silver Star Steak Company, a popular Helena steakhouse, announced they have been invited to represent the State of Montana at the Flavored Nation festival, October 28th and 29th, hosted by the city of St. Louis, MO. The event will be held at The Dome at America’s Center, the city’s stadium.
Food industry professionals from around the country researched the most iconic food dishes from around the country then recruited chefs from each state who will share their versions of those chosen dishes. An estimated 12,000 people will attend the two-day event to sample 50 iconic dishes prepared by 50 chefs.
“I’m honored to have been selected, and excited to share our Huckleberry Bison Burger,” said Josh Rhodes, Executive Chef for Silver Star Steak Company. “This is a great opportunity to share our little part of Montana with others around the country and maybe bring more visitors to Helena. It’s good for our restaurant and all businesses here.” Chef Josh will be accompanied by general manager and wine connoisseur, Francois Zanni.
